Boo’s always been a very musically-inclined child, and lately, he’s been taking an interest in jazz and swing. We listen to 40s music in the car (thank God for satellite radio’s 40s on 4!). Most of the books he’s been reading for fun have been about jazz music or kids’ biographies of jazz musicians. He’s especially taken with the children’s biography series “Who Was …?” and after reading Who Was Louis Armstrong, asked to write about him and the book here on The Betty and Boo Chronicles.
As you’ll notice, Boo’s chosen to do his reviews in a format where he relates some biographical fact about Mr. Armstrong’s life, followed by Boo’s thoughts.

He was a jazz player.
I think Louis Armstrong was a great jazz player. I also think he ALMOST got to jail or not, (NOT means he might WILL GO TO jail).
Somtimes, a person lets Armstrong blow their horn. “The kids loved the sound of my tin horn”
said Louis to Himself.
I believe that WHITE and BLACK or DARK BROWN can play jazz.
