Best of the Week – May 10-17

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking and reflecting recently on the issue of working, if I’m really doing what I want to be doing, if there are other possibilities or options that I need to take a look at … you know, those kinds of “Good Lord God, I’m freaking 40 years old and my life is half over!” kinds of thoughts. Because of that, this post from Gretchen Rubin (of The Happiness Project) with this quote from film editor and sound designer Walter Murch really resonated with me. I love the idea that our chances for happiness are increased if we’re doing something that’s connected with what we loved when we were between the ages of 9 and 11.
